Where Teduh Amanah Began
Teduh Amanah came into being from a recognition that many people approaching or entering retirement find themselves facing pension correspondence and administrative decisions they do not fully understand — and often do not know where to turn.
The practice was founded in Kuala Lumpur by practitioners who had seen, through years of work in Malaysian legal and advisory settings, how much difference a calm, plain-language explanation could make to someone navigating an unfamiliar process alone.
The name itself reflects what we set out to offer. Teduh — shelter, shade, a place of quiet in uncertain weather. Amanah — trust, something held in care on behalf of another. Together, they describe the kind of relationship we seek to build with every person who comes to us.
Today, from our office in Menara Prestige, we assist retirees and those nearing retirement across Malaysia with pension position reviews, correspondence handling, and, where needed, formal representation. Our work is shaped entirely around the individual — their documents, their concerns, their pace.

Ahmad has spent over fourteen years advising individuals on pension entitlements and employment-related legal matters in Malaysia. He founded Teduh Amanah after observing how many retirees faced difficult pension situations without adequate support.

Siti is the first point of contact for many clients and takes particular care to ensure that every person feels heard and unhurried from the very first conversation. She coordinates pension position reviews and keeps clients informed throughout their matter.

Where an in-person meeting is not practical, we are equally comfortable conducting initial consultations by telephone and managing correspondence remotely.
